The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc across the globe, but its number of victims is not limited to those who have contracted the disease. Racially-motivated discrimination and violence against Asian-Americans has been exacerbated by fear of the virus. In this video, Veronica BP of Election 2020 explores the heightened Asian-American discrimination in the U.S., including one incident affecting an LMU student.

Veronica is a sophomore triple major in film production, history, and computer science. She loves long talks about politics, amateur flying trapeze, and getting 8 hours of sleep (almost) every night.
