The Cycling Lion

The Cycling Lion will open this spring and will offer a bike share program with rental bikes so students can cycle rent bikes easily on campus. The business will eventually also offer advice and educational seminars to students on how to fix, tune, and repair their bikes.

Goals: help get cars off the road for more environmentally friendly transportation on campus and increase bicycling community and awareness on campus

Supports more biking on campus.

Offers connectivity to make it easier to bike on and off campus.

Location: the backside of Doheny, across from Daum Hall. Plans to have a launch party in March.

Over 30 bikes have been donated by Coca-Cola for the bike share service.

The Cycling Lion will begin with the bike share service and will eventually offer educational seminars and tips on how to repair your bike as well as other services.

The bike sharing service is complementary. There will be a deposit on the bike if something were to break, but there is no rental fee.

Cycling Lion will service service both students and staff.
