Dear Editor,

I want to commend Jackie Jones on her well-written article in today's issue of The Loyolan titled "You can move on after recruitment." As someone who whole-heartedly enjoyed her time at LMU without participating in Greek Life, I could relate. In fact, I myself wrote a similar article in The Loyolan in 2009 that also expressed the ability for women to find community, as well as a social life, in activities outside of sorority life at LMU; a popular alternative, yet for some reason much less talked about. Jones' article, much more tactfully than my own, celebrated life outside of Greek Life without attacking it, something that is not easy to do. Kudos on a nice piece that I'm sure means a lot to certain students on campus.
