The tournament consists of two rounds, one on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start followed by the final round which will start between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
One team to watch for is Saint Mary's College of California which finished with a first-place score of 825 in the 2015 Watney Invitational. Saint Mary’s Pavan Sagoo was also the 2015 Watney Invitational Medalist.
During the USF Invitational, the Lions earned their best start since 2000, placing fourth overall in the 14-team field on Sept. 13.
Sophomore Riley Elmes, who stood out in the USF Olympic Intercollegiate Invitational, scored a 66 in San Francisco and finished second overall. The Lions hope to continue this momentum into the Watney Invitational.
