Great ways to be kind to our lovely planet Earth

To prepare for Earth Day, these students have avoided showering for eight days. It helped to save 420 gallons of water.

Looking for the newest, easiest and most effective ways to do your part to save the planet? Look no further.

Don’t brush your teeth. It saves water, plastic and all that weird chemical stuff that goes in toothpaste.

Share showers. If you have a roommate and don’t share a shower, it really is just irresponsible of you (and don’t say you can’t both fit — you can cozy up).

Go natural — birthday suit natural. The clothing industry pollutes too much, so it’s really time we stopped investing in it and just walked around embracing our true forms.

Embrace your inner pyromaniac. Stop using lights and just light a fire instead. If your RA questions it, just explain that it’s for the planet.

Get in shape. That way, you can just run everywhere instead of taking a car.

Happy Earth Day!
